Corduroy

I always enjoyed eating at Corduroy when it was located in the windowless second floor of a second rate hotel on K and 12th Streets, NW but I never liked the lack of atmosphere or light. Now that the restaurant has moved to it's own building on 9th Street, eating at the restaurant is an exceptional experience. The food is still terrific but it seems even better as it's served in beautiful surroundings. The service which was always friendly and professional matches the quality of the food. Four of us had an exceptional dinner, from appetizers through dessert. Clean plates all around. My only regret was not having gone to Corduroy sooner and more often.
